Additional Open Water - Learn SCUBA Class Information:

Now is the time to come to Diving Enterprises, Ltd. and dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the dive training agency that sets the standards in the global diving community.

What will I do? Throughout the course, you'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean, river, or lake) dives. Each pool session will give you an opportunity to learn the skills and techniques of diving. The knowledge development sessions will review the materials from the training materials (included in the course) and follow with a short quiz.

Weekend Classes: Weekend classes start Friday evening. From 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm you will complete the first part of your classroom work. Saturday morning will start at 9:00 am at the store to finish the class work. Then you'll go to the pool to begin your in-water training. You'll be at the pool until about 6:00 pm. On Sunday you return to the pool where you will finish your in-water training. You'll be at the pool form 9:00 am to about 6:00pm with a lunch break.

Weeknight Classes:
Weeknight classes are held twice a week for 3 weeks (6 sessions). Sessions are held on Mondays & Wednesdays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, or Monday & Thursdays. Each session runs from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The first night is orientation and classroom. The next 3 sessions are in the pool. The last 2 sessions are back at the classroom.

Private Classes:
Private classes can be arranged to fit your personalized schedule. If you get a group of 5 or more you can get private classes at regular prices.

Open Water Training Dives: Once all pool and classroom sessions are completed it is time for the certification dives. These are usually held shortly after the class and pool.
Certification dives are done locally between late April and mid-November. In addition to the local rivers and quarries we offer trips to locations such as Florida, the Caribbean, North Carolina, Belize, The Bahamas, Bonaire, Fiji, and more. Your certification dives can be completed on almost any of these trips if you prefer.

Have a trip already scheduled? If you don't have time to get your dives done with us, you can get a referral and any PADI Instructor in the world can complete your training. Since PADI is the largest training agency in the world, there is always a PADI facility or instructor nearby.
